We’re incredibly proud to share one of the biggest milestones in the ZuZanna’s Wellness journey so far.
At our very first entry into the 2026 SA Preserve Championships, four of our products achieved top-three placings - including an SA Champion title for our Blueberry Jam.
Our award-winning products are:
🥇 Blueberry Jam - SA Champion, 1st Place in the Chunky Jam Category
🥈 Strawberry Jam - 2nd Place in the Smooth Jam Category
🥉 Fruit Chutney - 3rd Place in the Classic Category
🥉 Tomato Sauce - 3rd Place in the Braai Relish Category
Why this achievement means so much
What makes these results especially meaningful is how the products were judged.
The entries were blind judged, with no branding identifying the products to the judges. That means the results came down to the things that matter most: taste, texture, quality and overall product excellence.
Our products were also judged alongside traditional preserves and condiments, with no separate sugar-free category.
That matters to us.
ZuZanna’s Wellness was created around a simple belief: choosing a No Added Sugar product should never mean settling for something that tastes second best.
These awards are independent recognition that better-for-you alternatives can still compete on flavour and quality.
A proud first entry
To achieve four top-three placings in our first year entering the championships is something we are deeply proud of.
For our Blueberry Jam to take 1st Place and SA Champion status makes the milestone even more special.
But this achievement is not about one product alone.
It reflects the care that goes into every stage of what we do - from recipe development and ingredient selection to production, quality control, packing and delivery.
